PHPBB has had a few stable releases of their version 3.0 boards, so I decided to make the jump. There are going to be a bunch of adjustments to get used to it. Please let me know if you notice any issues along the way!

One new feature I found so far is birthday tracking. Haven't checked to see what it does with the info, but under "User Control Panel", "Profile", at the bottom you can set your birthday with drop down boxes.

Another value I'd recommend is:
"User Control Panel"
"Board Preferences"
"My Date Format"
Choose the one at the bottom of the list just above "Custom"...it acts most like the old one telling you "Today"/"Yesterday" posted messages etc.

They had another theme included but not installed. Just tested it and it turns out to look sorta like the old one! Hope it's better for folks! Was having trouble getting used to their default theme.

Got rid of the delay when you login and logout...still working on other tweaks...lemme know if there is anything bugging you that could be looked into!

I've been using Picasa then uploading pics to my web album. Only problem is I have to play with the link to get the pic to show up properly in a post.

well, everyone pitch in for 5-10$ and buy a 500gig external drive for 99$ and give to Jon.

This might be possible in the future. currently the site is hosted by a 3rd party. I've been talking to Pon about moving it to my house, and then we could do just that.
